Dani Rodrik thinks Justin Yifu Lin is good choice for World Bank's chief economist- one reason;

Fourth, Justin is a risk-taker. (How else can one interpret his defection to mainland China from Taiwan in 1979 by swimming across the strait?)


I've to believe if Rodrik says so.

    There are more competent world renowned Indian economists than Chinese economists.
