Daniel Kahneman on Happiness
Daniel Kahneman reveals how our "experiencing selves" and our "remembering selves" perceive happiness differently
A definition of happiness I find useful is the "feeling" one experiences when a project one has planned is going according to plan. This would seem to cover the experience phase. Perhaps that is the sort of happiness those who favour the pursuit of happiness have in mind.
However, I agree well-being is different and is what we should be trying to measure instead of Gross Domestic Product.
Very illuminating thank you.
