On the one hand I find your blog incredibly useful, on the other hand I never get any fricking work done because I am always following links and reading stuff I found here.
My advice is read David Allen's Getting things Done.
The key is discipline, discipline and discipline, I guess. Or may be Solow's advice is better;
To my mind, the priorities are not so certain that one ought to pass up any opportunity to get something useful done.
