The War of Nuts between US and Iran

Iran decides to slow down pistachio exports
The United States is offering its own Pistachio in the International markets and is the main rival of Iran’s pistachio. Price of each ton of Iranian Pistachio is $5100to $5400 based on their quality and that of US pistachio is $4100to $4500 in international markets.

Lobbyists rail at Israeli barriers
"Except on price, (we believe) U.S. pistachio growers can compete against the Iranian pistachio in any developed market," Brown testified.
